Christian view of ISIS

As Christians, the viewpoint we are asked to take is a hard one. It is counter to the world view and even our own natures. With all the atrocities in world it is hard to not become emotional and take on the first emotional response that occurs.  The natural response is likely going to involve returning the hatred in kind.

The bible tells us though in Matthew 5:44, "But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.".

I think the following posts do a great job of describing what that means.

I am so glad that the authors of those posts shared them - I find it uplifting when Christians strengthen each other in this way.

Hoping Jesus blesses your day and fills your heart with his love.
